KVKK Privacy Notice

This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and explains how personal data collected through navimare.com.tr is processed.

2. Personal data processed and how it is collected

  • Contact form: full name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), message content, submission date and time, and your KVKK consent.
  • Email and phone correspondence: the information you send us or we exchange with you.
  • Analytics data (only if you consent): usage information such as the pages you visit, device and browser type, approximate location and session length, collected through cookies by Google Analytics.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser information and access time, recorded automatically for the security and technical operation of the site.

Data is collected through the website and email by automatic or partly automatic means.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Replying to your requests, sending data sheets and quotes, and contacting you. Legal basis: your explicit consent given with the checkbox on the form, and handling your request.
  • Measuring and improving use of the site (Google Analytics). Legal basis: your explicit consent given in the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Keeping the site secure and preventing spam and abuse. Legal basis: the legitimate interest of the data controller.
  • Keeping access logs for the period required by law. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Recipients of data

Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Data may be passed on in the following cases:

  • Hosting and email service: the website and emails are hosted with a hosting provider in Türkiye.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (form security check): runs only on the page that contains the contact form. During the check, your IP address and browser information are sent to Cloudflare, Inc. (based in the United States). This data is therefore transferred abroad.
  • Google Analytics: loaded only if you allow “Analytics” cookies. Your usage data is sent to Google (Google LLC and its affiliates) and may be processed on servers abroad.
  • Google Maps: loaded only when you accept it on the contact page. After you accept, your browser connects to Google and data is sent to Google.
  • Authorised authorities: where required by law or requested by competent authorities.

5. Retention period

Information you send through the contact form or by email is kept for up to 2 years after your request is concluded, and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Server access logs are kept for the period set by the relevant legislation.

6. Your rights under Article 11 of KVKK

As a data subject you may: learn whether your data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK; request that these actions be notified to third parties who received the data; object to a result against you arising from automated analysis; and claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

7. How to apply

Send your request by email to info@navimare.com.tr or in writing to Ferhatpaşa Mh. 31. Sk. No: 31-35 Ataşehir / Istanbul / Türkiye. Applications are answered within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature. You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority.
