APPLICATION GUIDE

Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean and dry before application. There must be no dust, dirt, oil or moisture on the substrate. During application, substrate and material temperatures should be 18–28°C. Moisture content of the prepared substrate measured at approximately 2 cm depth should not exceed 3%.

Mixing and Thinning

Use a suitable mixer. Only mix complete units as supplied in the packaging. Add the hardener (B) to the base material and mix for 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Then transfer the mixture to an empty container and mix again until homogeneous.

Application

Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, dried, sanded with 180–200 grit sandpaper and repaired if weak. After application, sand wet or dry with 60–120 grit sandpaper. Spread the mixture on a surface to avoid excessive heat build-up and extend working time. Do not apply more than 2 cm thick in one application. Do not apply at temperatures below 7°C. Do not thin.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Read the MSDS Material Safety Data Sheet for safety rules and warnings. Prevent skin and eye contact (gloves, protective goggles, face mask and industrial barrier cream). Ensure adequate air circulation. If paint contacts skin, wash with lukewarm water and soap. If splashed in eyes, rinse for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Contains flammable components — keep away from sparks and open flames. No smoking permitted. Read all cautionary notices on containers.
